Corner Tubs

If you are doing a remodel on your bathroom or just need a new tub, then consider getting a corner jetted tub. Then you can turn your ordinary bathroom into a mini personal day spa.

The corner of your bathroom is often wasted space in most bathrooms. By installing corner baths, it may make room for to add a shower stall in the room. The reason this is a good idea is that with a separate shower stall two people can utilize the bathroom at the same time.

The new designs on the market today come in a full range of colors and finishes and give you great flexibility. A few years ago, you could not buy a nice jetted tub unless you had a huge bathroom to put it in. Now there are new models on the market that are made for small spaces.

Choose a corner tub shower that has an able ledge to put towels, bath salts, candles and other pampering items on. Hanging a plant such as a fern will give a relaxing feeling and the steam will be good for the plant. African violets love the humidity of the bathroom. The orchid is another plant that does well and looks great in the bathroom. Just make sure they get some sun light and they will grow well and stay healthy.

Painting the bath a serene color will really help the overall affect. Sea foam blue or any other colors that remind you of the ocean will work well. You can also start with a sand color on your walls as a base. To bring in the ocean feel add accents such as vases, paintings and other decor in the ocean colors to decorate with. A textured finish is much easier to do in small space such as a bathroom so do something special on your walls. Go the extra mile and lay back in your tub and enjoy.

You can purchase your corner tub shower with a few jets or get one that is loaded with them. It is a good idea to lie in the tub you are considering buying too. You do not want a tight fit or one that is either too shallow or too deep for you. Do not be embarrassed to ask your salesperson as this is an expensive purchase. Just remember to remove your shoes before you get in your corner jetted tub to try it out.
